Description
You will enjoy the drive down the hill to our lodge, which sits on top of a high bluff overlooking Pennyrile Lake and the beautiful woods of Pennyrile Forest. Our beautiful and cozy wood and stone lodge is surrounded by 15000 acres of Pennyrle Forest, and has 24 lodge rooms overlooking Pennyrile Lake. This park is located near Paducah and Henderson.
Our two Meeting Rooms can accommodate from 30 to 120 guests, and is only a skip away from the lodge! You will certainly enjoy the delicious food available at our restaurant, or delivered to your event. Let our Recreation Staff assist you with team building activities, or venture out on your own to the many nature trails or the quiet patio to read a book, off our lobby. We have five one and two bedroom cottages in wooded areas, eight one and two bedroom cottages on the lake with docks for fishing. Our Clifty Creek Restaurant seats 200 guests. The gift shop offers unique and Kentucky hand craft items, and game room with classic arcade games. While you are visiting the park come relax in our large lobby with a handcrafted hardwood floor and the large stone fireplace.
Come relax in a lodge room and enjoy a peaceful afternoon on one of the balconies or porches overlooking the Pennyrile Lake. If you are looking to go to the beach while here, you’ll certainly enjoy the pristine restored beach with white sand. At Pennyrile we have hiking trails that meander through the park while enjoying the abundant wildlife. We also have a challenging 18 hole golf course that is sure to please any golfer. Other activities while at the park are Mountain Bike Trails, 23 miles of Horseback Trails, 32 site Campground and 8 site Equestrian Campground, Tennis and Basketball courts, Paddleboats, Row Boats and Canoes.
