Boating is one of the most popular activities at Kentucky State Parks since so many of them sit along major lakes. Many parks have boat ramps and some lake-front State Resort Parks have full-service marinas that rent canoes, kayaks, fishing boats and pontoon boats and sell bait, fishing gear, ski equipment and groceries. The marinas also provide rental slips for boats. Many of these parks also offer a public campground or other form of lodging for guests who want to stay a night or two.
Browse the park list below to find state parks that fulfill your desire for marine recreation and plan an unforgettable vacation on the water. Always be sure to follow Kentucky boating laws during your visit.
