Military Discount
Type-in discount code USA when booking online Nov.-March for super deals on lodge rooms and cottages. April-October select Military Discount from the drop down under Special Rates for 15% lodging discount. Active & retired military personnel with proof of service.


For military campers, receive a 10% discount by choosing the “Military” customer type upon booking online and showing identification at check-in.

 

Kentucky POWs camp for free (with POW card issued by Veterans Affairs Administration).

 


10% Lodging and Camping
10% discount is available for the following guests. There are no discounts on tent/primitive sites. Proof of membership/ID required upon check-in:

  • Senior Citizen (use code SENR when booking lodge rooms or cottages online or select "senior" customer type for campsites). ID required upon check-in (age 62 & older).
  • AAA Membership Discounts (use code AAA when booking lodge rooms or cottages online). AAA membership card must be shown at check-in.

Kentucky Resident Rate
The “Kentucky Resident Rate” offers up to 10% off the normal lodging rate at the park system’s 17 resort parks. Guests must show a Kentucky driver’s license or other state identification upon check-in. Reservations can be made by going online to the park reservation page and selecting the park you plan to visit. 

 

The rate, which will be offered throughout the year, does not include taxes or fees and is subject to availability. The actual discount will vary by date and park.

Kentucky State Employees

Public employees, state, local and federal, as well as government retirees, public school system employees and retirees are eligible for the Commonwealth Connection rate Nov. thru March, and active Kentucky state employees are eligible for a leisure travel discount year-round.

 


Kentucky Disabled Veterans Lodging Guidelines
Benefit is only for veterans who are 100% disabled as a direct result of a service-connected incident and is a current Kentucky resident.
 

Benefit will extend to Kentucky National Guard or Reserve members disabled under the same circumstance.
 

100% disability is determined by the US Veterans Administration or Department of Defense. National Guard disability is determined as provided in KRS Chapter 342.

Those eligible will have a letter from the US Department of Veterans Affairs.
 

Available for a maximum of three overnight stays/calendar year, three nights max for each visit, subject to availability. CLICK HERE for more info. Pet fee charges will be collected during the stay if a pet is brought into an over night accommodation.
 

During the period Memorial Day-Labor Day, and the month of October, stays must start/end during the 5-day Sunday-Thursday period. Outside of this period, stays can be for any days of the week, subject to availability.
 

The free accommodation (hotel/lodge room, cottage, or campsite) will apply only to that occupied by the veteran themselves.
 

Reservations can be made no more than ten (10) days prior to arrival.

Reservations are made by calling the park of their choice.
 

Disability letter and proof of Kentucky residency are required upon arrival.
