Description

For business groups the hotel has four (4) meeting rooms which can accommodate from 10-200 guests. Historic Cherokee is located only 3 miles from Kenlake Hotel and is a wonderful meeting facility for weddings, reunions, parties or company picnics. Two (2) picnic pavilions and the Bayview Building are available for casual family gatherings, cookouts, or weddings. Outdoor weddings are our specialty with six lake view venues to choose from.

Overnight accommodations are available in the 48-room “Kenlake Hotel,” or our 34 fully furnished cottages ranging from one, two or three bedrooms. Our campground has 90 sites, all with electric and water hookups. Meals can be enjoyed in the Aurora Landing Restaurant with a beautiful view of Kentucky Lake, or in your meeting room.

The resort has an indoor/outdoor tennis center, and 3 D Archery range plus, hiking and fishing. Kenlake Marina offers rental pontoons, fishing and ski boats, plus overnight or long term slip rental. There is a launching ramp, of course. Free Wi-Fi is available in all overnight and meeting accommodations. An outdoor pool is available (seasonally) for hotel and cottage guests.

The park is located a short distance from Land Between the Lakes, a public use area operated by the U.S. Forest Service offering hunting, fishing, hiking, biking, environmental education, ATV and equestrian riding opportunities.

Situated high above Kentucky Lake, the Kenlake Lodge steps back in time to the era of grand hotels and relaxing weekend holidays.

Lodge rooms have interior hallways and the meeting room, just off the lobby, showcases the outdoor pool and Kentucky Lake through its wall of windows. For additional flexibility, the indoor tennis center can be converted to a 20,000-square-foot exhibit hall or convention space.

Cherokee State Park
Rich in history, Cherokee State Park was once the only segregated state park for African-Americans in the South and one of only three such parks in the United States. Today, the original dining hall has been fully restored as a modern 125-seat event/meeting facility with climate-controlled comfort. Patio, overlook and gardens create the perfect area for family reunions, wedding ceremonies or company retreats.
