Description

Groups appreciate the opportunity to get away from the hustle and bustle of urban life at the small, scenic park perched above the Mississippi River. The park’s modern activity center blends into the surrounding forestland and its interior has an inviting ambiance with hardwood floors and a stone fireplace.

The building is comprised of two rooms – the Activities Room, which has a capacity of 180 guests, and the Conference Room, which seats 32. Facilities include banquet tables, audio-visual equipment, a dance floor, stage and kitchen. The park office is also located in the building.

This scenic park perched on bluffs above the Mississippi River was once the site of many battles in the Civil War. Blending into the natural surroundings stands the conference center which offers event and meeting space for weddings, receptions, special dinners or corporate meetings. The beautiful interior has a reception area with hardwood floors and a stone fireplace that is a mutual meeting place for the activities room and conference room.

ACCOMMODATIONS
Campers relax amid beautiful settings on the river cliff campground. The campground has 38 sites with utility hookups and grills. A central service building offers rest rooms, showers, and laundry facilities. Pets are allowed if restrained. Campground open year round, water available, but not to each site in winter.
