Lake Barkley State Resort Park Trails
Blue Springs Trail
1.5 miles, linear trail, trailhead can be found along paved pathway that leads to the Little River Annex, outlet located at bottom across from fitness center, wildlife viewing area located near the lake.
Cedar Grove Trail
2 mile linear trail, must walk section of the Lena Madesin trail to reach trailhead, outlet is located near beach parking lot.
Lake Barkley Riding Stables
Guided trail rides are offered from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm seven days a week during the summer. Rides leave on the hour, except at twelve noon. $18.00 per person.
Lena Madesin Phillips Self-guided Interpretive Trail
.75 mile, foot traffic only, trailhead located below the lodge's playground, looped trail, numbered stations that correlate with a trail booklet, scenic views of the lake and a swinging bridge.
Wagon Wheel Trail
1/3 mile trail serves as access to the beach from the camping sites, trailhead at end of Wilderness Trail.
Wilderness Trail
2.4 mile linear trail, must also be reached by way of the Lena Madesin Trail, outlet lies just north of the stables, at trails end cross paved road and reenter woods near water tower.
